Our world-system is shaped by sites of leverage where energy, capital, and information converge. Straits, deltas, and financial circuits are choke points that reveal how futures are contested and negotiated.

This project explores how historical infrastructures continue to shape planetary flows, while highlighting the role of manufacturers, distributors, designers, and local stakeholders in producing the imaginaries that drive these systems.

Choke Points: The Warm War is about learning from complexity and using choke points as entry points for dialogue — helping partners step into new conversations, anticipate risk, and design futures with those who build and sustain them.
